What we're looking for

Supergut is seeking a wellness obsessed social creator to educate and entertain our audience on TikTok. This role will partner with Supergut’s marketing team and have access to a wealth of knowledge—including scientists, doctors, and nutrition experts—in order to ideate and produce thumb-stopping video content with the goal of growing a highly-engaged following.

The ideal candidate is;

  • Passionate about health & nutrition
  • Thrives in a startup environment
  • Knows TikTok like the back of their hand
  • Is naturally able to relate to our core customer segment of health optimizers:
    • Diverse men & women ages 30-40 who who aspire to lead healthy lives, and are looking for practical solutions they can integrate into busy schedules and actually stick with.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ~15-20 videos per month
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest TikTok & social trends, memes, formats, and best practices.
  • Brainstorm, shoot, edit, and share daily content to attract and build meaningful connections with viewers
  • Collaborate with our internal creative production team to bring your ideas to life in an on-brand way.
  • Nurture our TikTok community and weigh in on trending topics to position Supergut as a thought-leader in the gut health space.
  • Continuously improve performance by working with internal team members to analyze social metrics, insights, and best practices.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to review KPI’s, brainstorm, collaborate, etc.

Notes

  • Location: Los Angeles preferred, but remote possible
  • Budget: ~ $2,000-$3,000 per month
  • Ideal candidate qualities:
    • Proven experience creating compelling video content on TikTok—i.e., you thrive in front of the camera and naturally know how to engage your audience!
    • You’re passionate, curious, and comfortable speaking about health & wellness. Direct experience in nutrition or gut health is a major plus, though not a deal breaker.
    • An understanding of key social performance indicators (KPIs) and how to adjust strategy based on learnings.
    • A keen eye for design and/or basic design skills is a plus as well.
