About Us
PLTFRM is a next-generation commerce operator powering some of the fastest-growing consumer brands in the world.
We combine deep retail expertise with modern media, analytics, and operational execution — enabling brands to scale across Walmart, Target, Costco, Amazon, and emerging digital channels like TikTok Shop.
With 650+ team members and over 700 brand partners driving $11B+ in annual sales, PLTFRM sits at the intersection of retail, digital, and culture. We don’t just support brands — we build the systems and strategies that move them forward.
Our model is built on specialization: best-in-class teams across retail, supply chain, media, and growth — all unified by a single operating system designed to drive velocity across every channel.
What we're looking for
We're building a new strategic function to lead all creator and social initiatives as the creator economy continues to dominate the commerce landscape.
We are building this function from the ground up and looking for someone who wants to own it from day one in this Head of Social role.
This is not a role where you step into an existing team or inherit a playbook. You will be the one creating it. You will define how PLTFRM shows up across social, with a focus on building brand equity in an “if you know, you know” way across operators, founders, and the next generation of emerging consumer brands.
This is a hands-on role from day one. You will own the full content motion, from strategy through execution, building and deploying a content engine that drives PLTFRM’s brand.
Over time, there is an opportunity to build a team. But first, we are looking for someone who can set the standard and prove what great looks like.
We're seeking a leader with creator DNA who deeply understands organic algorithms and can translate that expertise into scalable content strategy. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience with a proven creator background and demonstrated success in building high-performing content teams.
Key qualifications include:
- Deep understanding of social algorithms and what performs across Instagram & TikTok
- Experience building and leading creative/content teams
- Strong content strategy skills across both organic and paid social
- Ability to direct talent and oversee content production from concept to execution
- Experience with social-first content formats and community management
- CPG industry experience preferred
- Portfolio or content examples required, demonstrating strong organic performance

- Bring in talent similar to operators/creators like Jake Heyen to develop vertical-specific content
- Build a bench of freelancers, UGC creators, and production partners
- Develop systems for briefing, feedback, and scaling output
4. Thought Leadership & Brand Building
- Turn internal insights, data, and operator knowledge into compelling content

5. Experimentation & Performance Mindset
- Test content formats, hooks, and series to find repeatable winners
