What we're looking for
We’re looking for an experienced filmmaker with a passion for storytelling, a strong grasp of social media trends, and on-camera presence. The ideal candidate creates content that resonates with a creative audience while embodying Artlist’s core values: quality, creativity, and inspiration.
As part of Artlist’s Social Media Team, you’ll help shape our long-term brand narrative and image. You should be able to craft compelling, engaging videos while analyzing performance metrics (e.g., watch retention, CTR) to refine content strategy.
Initially, the focus will be on short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with opportunities to develop long-form concepts for YouTube.
Key Skills:
- Strong storyteller and educator (both technically and theoretically)
- Highly proficient in Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
Our content strategy is simple:
“Respond to trends in video creation and elevate them by breaking down the magic behind them.”
This role involves generating original ideas, identifying trending techniques, and aligning content with company briefs, campaigns, and creative direction.

Responsibilities
- Create ongoing short form content (around 15 videos per month).
- Create content for paid ads, per company needs
- Report on video performance (#views, engagement, followers) and overall channel performance, in tandem with our Social Media Manager
- Derive actionable conclusion and adapt accordingly
- Report directly to our Social Media Team Lead
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media team
- Attend team meetings (usually 1 or 2 weekly meetings + 1 monthly meeting)
- Actively post content on our channels (IG, TikTok, YouTube)
- Engage with our community in comments, stories etc. (we also have a Community Manager, but we see great value in the creator taking part as well)
- Growth and other interesting opportunities:
- Develop and execute long-form YouTube concepts
- Travel to events or to collaborate with other creators and artists

Budget
~$6,000- $8,000 per month

Flexible hours (need to attend certain meeting, but other than that — you manage your own time). Note that you will have to document and report your working hours.
